Cycle of Self
For women who know they want things to be different.
Do you sometimes wish things could be different?
We have been told our whole lives that women like us have everything we could ever want. But the constant juggle of raising children, ageing parents, maintaining the household, earning an income, and expectations that we’ve got it all under control is exhausting.
Not that we’d ever admit it.
When asked how you are, the answer is usually I’m okay, or fine, or some other version of “beneath the surface I’m crumbling, but you don’t need to hear that, so good thanks”…
Between the self-help books, the anti-depressants in your bedside cabinet, and the glass of wine you have with dinner each night, you are doing what you can to show up for the people you love.
You’re always hopeful that things can be different, but right now you’re doing everything… and none of it as well as you would like.
We hear women say all the time that things feel big and hard and like nothing will actually ever change.
But in order for things to change, we have to do things differently.
Knowing how to make the right changes, for you, is probably something that raises your anxiety to an uncomfortable level.
But the thought of feeling calm, confident, and clear on where you’re going makes you feel a kind of hope that you haven’t felt in years.
And the idea of showing yourself the same kind of love and compassion that you show your BFF brings an unfamiliar, but desirable sense of peace that you haven’t ever been able to access before.
Having the courage to acknowledge that you want something more for yourself doesn’t mean that you are ungrateful for what you already have.
It simply means that you’re like every other woman we have ever worked with.
Which probably also means that you are ready to take action, if only you knew what action was needed.
And that you want to feel purposeful, making decisions intuitively and not from fear.
That you know, deep down, you are capable of feeling all of those good feels that seem so easy for other women, but so foreign for you.
Often, when we know that things aren’t quite right, we also believe that we don’t have the resources we need to make change for ourselves.
Thing is, that may well be true.
Because as much as we know that we want change, there are often many reasons why it’s not possible for us.
We don’t know where to start. We don’t know what it would look like. It costs more than we can afford. We don’t have the resources we need to make it happen.
And we are told from the time we are little girls that one day, a knight in shining armour will come along and save the day. He will slay the dragon that holds us captive, and whisk us away for our happily ever after.
But what if that is simply a story we were told to keep us small in the world? To make us believe that we aren’t able to save ourselves, and that we have to wait for someone else to come along and change things for us?
What would happen if we stopped telling ourselves “It’s not possible,” and took one little baby step towards “it’s happening?”
What if you had unshakable belief in yourself to create your own fairytale?
Thing is, we’ve been taught to believe that we can’t, but the truth is…
Yes, it takes clarity. Knowing who you are, what you stand for, and stepping firmly into your power so that you easily and consistently make decisions from a connected, intuitive space. Knowing what you really want from life, and that you are the key to your own success.
It takes courage too. Courage is about being fearless… feeling the fear, but letting that be less than the desire for more. Shedding the layers of conditioning, generational patterns, and stories we tell ourselves about who we are supposed to be, and healing the woman underneath it all.
And it takes confidence. Step by step, little by little, building up trust in yourself that you can honour your own truth ahead of all else… even when that truth flies in the face of how you were raised, what your family thinks, or what society tells you is acceptable.
It all starts with making a choice.
Your intuition has led you to this place for a reason.
This is the fork in the road. The moment where you get to choose…SOUNDS AMAZING - I'M IN!
Are you ready for things to be different?
When we ask our clients what the biggest changes have been for them since we started working together, there is one common thread…
They are better.
Better parents. Better partners. Better friends, daughters, colleagues, bosses…
Better because they are more themselves than they have ever had the clarity, courage, or confidence to be before.
If you’re ready to be better

Meet Your Mentors
We are Ellie Bell, Empowerment Coach, and Erin Hodgson, Intuitive Healer, cofounders of Awakening the Wise Woman, where we empower women to be braver, bolder, and bigger in all aspects of their lives.
We believe at the core of our souls that we are here to lead the movement that dismantles the patriarchal systems that have held society back, that have silenced women, kept them small and prevented them from speaking their truth.
We are here to show women how to do the work that heals all of the wounds those systems have created, call on their community, and to take collective action to return to the balance of sacred feminine and masculine that is necessary for our society to thrive.
We are so happy to welcome you here.
